Science is as vital as ever. A pro-Brexit result in the referendum, a government and parliament in flux, and the restructuring of the research councils all pose threats. Come to our AGM to help us launch the next chapter in the campaign to protect and promote research in the UK.
We’d love to see you at the AGM. A small number of volunteers run Science is Vital. We need help: to analyse data, to write campaign material, to run our website, to design posters. There will be Executive vacancies to fill, and we are excited about bringing new blood and fresh ideas on board. Grab yourself a ticket to the event at Charles Darwin House in London.
We will also aim to make the event available online for those unable to get to London. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter (@ScienceIsVital), or check back here for updates.
UPDATE: Minutes from our 2015 AGM are now available to view.
The Finance Report from 2015 and the Finance Report from 2016 are available to view.
UPDATE: The agenda for the meeting is now available.

Would it be possible to provide a webcast or live link e.g. via Skype, to the meeting that does not involve Facebook or Twitter, neither of which most same people are members if they can avoid it and which is any case are becoming outdated among younger individuals as media for specialised communication? Unfortunately, my location is Scotland precludes attendance in person on this occasion, but I would like to be involved.
We’re working on it. Please check this page on the night for the latest. There will be something.
